the king of nowhere
please let him be soft,
I know you made him with gunmetal bones and wolf's teeth
But even gunmetal can warp
and even wolf's teeth can dull
and I do not want to see him break
the way old and worn and overused things do
I do not want to see him go up in flames
the way all heroes end up martyrs
please let him be soft
and let him be mine
Vincente de la Rue, literally means Vincente of the streets, labels himself as a humble merchant from far away. His firms cover numerous critical and non-critical sectors of the Queendom, with wheat, grape, cotton, and tobacco plantations being the backbone of his business. Lately, he also trades luxury goods, mainly silks and gems, to fatten his source of income. With money comes power, and power makes him one of the key-roles in the Queendom's supply chain and economy.

There are other rumours that makes him notorious and sought in the city. Vincente is running an underground business. The goods he sells are but not limited to: stolen historical and antique artworks, prototypes of illegal technologies, informations, and of course, slaves of his customer's preferences. After years of running his business, none ever speak of his name with gruesome fears, because dead men tell no tales.

Aside from all those gold and glory, Queendom of Visvarens has been a prison for him. He is the son of Earth by blood and bone. His motherland is Sacred Valley of Domhnall and The Fjord Isles, an existing land of legend invisible to humankind outside its' purebloods. It is foretold as the Continent of Sworn Sovereignty by thousands of years old literatures. It has been sought and hunted, but none ever confirmed the legitimacy of the tale. Thus, it is forgotten. And the forgotten will soon demand their own history.

All of the continent's greatness is granted by what their people refer as the Ancient Star. Legend tells that the Star falls onto Earth on where the continent now belongs to. Years later, the First People, who were plain and fearful and hungry, wishes for crops and cattles and safety. The Star answers to it. It grows food and feeds livestocks. It calls the wind and tend to the rain. It also raise a wall so indestructible that the continent ceases to exist.

The First People, along the flow of mankind's history, grows to a monarch. It is dictated that whoever bears a connection to the Star shall be crowned as the Czar, for they are the chosen one. The rightful and the foretold. For the Star is a source of all aspects on the life inside Domhnall and Fjord Isles, the ruler must be someone who can control it for the good of all people. The Ancient Star is known to bear a tremendous amount of force. Scientist states in their research that the amount of energy used for running the whole country after thousands of years has not even reached a man's tip of finger. Thus, leads them to a question: what does the energy truly meant for? A simple answer is written in a memoir older than those who walks on the Earth today: the continent in which the Ancient Star dwells is sworn to be the conqueror of all. Driven by the memoir, laboratories are built and the Star's materials are mined. It was such a long, winding, dangerous project to even harvest a milligram worth of the shreds. At the end of the day, the project made two things in sum, weapons and men.
The scientist discovers a safe method to transfer the Star's overwhelming power to human being after several test run to a living subject. For the ruling Czar is grown and old, the court has decided that the crown prince, who is ripe and well, and bears a connection to the Star as royals do, will be the one trusted with the process. Unknown to public's eyes, the crown prince has been loved and kept inside the palace for the Empress has once lost her child. His reveal is long-awaited, and with the Star running inside his veins, it will be history.
Days counted and dawn passed. Every squires in the palace are ordered to watch on their posts. Knights are lined on the hallway. Gates are manned, men are armed. People floods in like storms devouring the land. They wish to know one: their future. The crown prince, for the first time, will be introduced. They know, the crown prince is foretold to be the greatest of the line with his given name Vincente that simply means conqueror. The mightiest, the Star's most loved. They know, they can rely and surrender their life. What they don't know, is the carnage happening behind those walls.
It is horrible. It is a nightmare reeks of utter chaos. The room is lit and bright and bloodstained. Every vision looks nothing but red. Thunderlight blinds them along with eerie screeches that rips one's eardrum. The Star refuses to surrender. It demands trade-off. A trade of everyone, for his chosen one. A trade of everyone inside the palace, dead and burnt as autumn's leaves, for the life of a son far from royalty and wealth and treasures: the subject. A man barely seventeen, looking down to the withered bodies of the Czar, his Empress, and the dying crown prince. Helpless and beyond saved he is, emitting hot fumes from the scorched skin. His eyes look up for the subject, pleading for help without knowing how to. The subject answers to him. Thunderlight enveloping his body. At that moment, he knows what's best to do. So with a sway of his hand, the Star ends the crown prince's life.
Outside, the people cheers and applauses as the trumpets are blown and the gates are dragged open. Hands are held high and smiles are drawn. Their future is up there upon the balcony, with figure lit bright by thunderlight and cape shines white and golden. It contrasts with how his red hair melts on both of his shoulder. The Czar's cape fits him like clay and molds, like piece of puzzle. And when the roars fall, he speaks history.
"I am Crown Prince Vincente Domhnall-Fjord. Grand Duke of the Fjord Isles. Son of the Royal Family, flesh and blood. Descendants of the First People. The Ancient Star's rightful and foretold. And today, I have a word to deliver to all of you, my people, that His Royal Highness The Czar and The Empress has passed away."

The Ancient Star itself is a source of power apart from the normal mana. Vincente basically manipulates the power, so it acts as an attribute as well. As implied in the story before, the Star has burning sensation similar to fire (it can emit heat and explosion, also real fire as well) and has a form and characteristic similar to lightning. The latest means it can travels fast and the excessive amount of it may has a blinding effect to the surroundings. For the usage of this attribute, Vincente mostly uses them along with his bow. The bow itself is his motherland's national treasure. It is made out of the shreds of the Ancient Star. The material of the Star itself is distinguished from common ones since it is completely vibration absorbent. It has yield strength higher than diamonds since the material melting point is above
Granted by the Star, Vincente bears some superhuman abilities such as enhanced senses and agility. Vincente has to absorb the power of the Star all the time and continuously. Doing it takes great focus. Thus why, Vincente chooses to limit his vision so his distractions will lessen. What he sees is exactly the same as what you see when you're closing your eyes. Yet, what makes him still can function normally as if he can see everything, is the enhancement of his other senses.
First, is the advancement of his hearing. Vincente is able to decipher layers of differing sounds and conversation, also pick up even a sound with the lowest tone possible. His hearing is almost equal with dog's that can hear an infrasonic sound.
With his touch, Vincente can detect the smallest crack in an object with just a tip of his finger. Brushing his finger through a book is almost the same with reading it for him. He can differ people by touching only their skin with completely blind eyes. His skin can also feel any vibrations

Collected, calm, rational, and efficient is how Vincente is often described, according to the stereotypes of INTJs. There will always be reasons on why he acts with most of it being kept within himself so that his intentions are all shrouded. He talks less and thinks more. That traits bring him to question every single rule of the Omnipotent One which he thinks are irrational.
ATTRIBUTE OF THE ANCIENT STAR
5.000 degrees celsius which means it is almost impossible to break them since only diamonds can cut diamonds. So is the Star. The shreds are actually the core of the Star, so it is built different with the energy. The energy itself can't harden into a solid material instantly without scientific processes. With the Star, Vincente creates artificial arrows to shoot with his bow. The arrows can follow the pre-determined target's movement like missiles do. Since it is made out of the Star, once it hits the target, they will explode and struck the object. He can shoot up to three arrows at once. Vincente can also use the Star to either shape it into temporary weapons or just directly shoot them raw. He can even coats his whole body with it and it acts as a shield to repel attacks and mana-induced magic or even makes him float mid-air. The force of the energy is enough
ENHANCED SENSES AND AGILITY
through solid substances, liquids, and even air pressure. By tasting, he can tell any energy-rich food or poisonous food. He also can differ chemical contents in the air by "tasting" the air with his mouth. The enhancement of his smelling makes him able to track an object by smell. He also can differ variations of smells in one time with high accuracy. With eyes opened, Vincente's eyesight surpasses normal humans since he can picks up the smallest details of an object from miles away. His maximum acuity is 20/5, in other words, he can see things at 20 feet most people can't see until they are standing 5 feet away.
All those enhanced senses united gives him some side effects as well. The first one is he's sensitive to people's feelings and aura of living beings. He can tell slightly what emotions they feel by ambience alone. The second one, it leads them to a condition named synesthesia. In short, it is a neurological condition in which information meant to stimulate one of the senses end up stimulates several of his senses.

Vincente prefers to be and is independent. He likes to do things in his own way. His thoughts are structured and he's well-versed in strategic planning that makes him able to run his own economic kingdom only after a few years living in Visvarens. Vincente always appear with a plain, emotionless face and hardly deciphered expression since his eyes are closed most of the time.
to cut even a tungsten with little to no effort in one blow. Since Vincente isn't a royal of his motherland who bears a connection with the Star, he can't make use of the power in a maximum and efficient way for a long time. The usage is not time-limited, but amount-limited. Normal attacks made with his bow consumes small forces and can be repeated continuously. Those which are made with his own body or bare hands can only be performed 6-7 times according to how much force he released per one attack.
The Star is godlike compared to him. Wielding it in combats without the help of his bow will make the Star goes out of control and corrupt his mind. He'll fall into madness and can even be killed instantly along with whatever presents around him.
This condition allows him to "hear colors", "taste shapes", or even "see sounds" (of course when he opens his eyes).
Aside from those, Vincente is also gifted with enhanced agility. To put it simply, Vincente is able to perform rapid responds or change in motion efficiently. He can jump higher, move faster, swing from things, and do many athletic implements with little to no efforts.
In real combats, Vincente mostly relies on his ability as an archer. He mainly dwells in high places and specialized in one efficient, sharp, and clean attack rather than in a long, continuous, and head-on combats. He's not especially trained as a soldier, so those who are more experienced in one-on-one combat will have advantages over him.
